Why should I hire a KonMari Consultant?
A Certified KonMari Consultant has been specially trained on how to guide you through the tidying process and will lead and support you all the way to achieve long lasting, permanent results. A consultant will provide you with the right guidance on setting your objectives, what brings you joy, help confronting your clutter, guidance on responsibly discarding your unwanted items, continuous motivation and encouragement all the way through the process and valuable tips on how to prevent rebound and stay clutter free for good!

Will I have to throw all my stuff away?
Absolutely not! The process focuses on what you wish to keep and not what you want to throw away. It's a personal journey and the decision on what you want to keep and what to let go is entirely yours. Furthermore, there is no clear definition how much stuff you should be left with - it's entirely your call!
Will I have to tidy all the categories?
It is highly recommended that in order to achieve a permanent success you tidy all the categories and follow the right order. However, I do provide bespoke packages for those who may wish to just tidy their wardrobe, books or papers. I will be happy to discuss your needs and taylor my services to that.
How long does the process take?
The journey is very personal and depends on a few factors: how committed to the process you are, how much stuff you own, your decision making ability and your vision for how you want to live your life.
Do I need to be present while tidying?
Yes, everybody's tidying journey is a very personal process where you will be making your own decisions on what you would like to keep as part of your lifestyle. The KonMari Consultant is there to guide you and help you through the process.
What do I need to do before each session?
You are not required to do anything prior to any sessions as we work together through all the categories. Guidance and advice will be provided what you may need to prepare before each session. Also, we will discuss any voluntarily work in between sessions if you wish to do that.
How does The KonMari Method™ differ from minimalism?
Marie Kondo's message is not one of minimalism. The KonMari Method™ encourages us to take care of and honor our belongings. The ideal amount of belongings will be different from individual to individual.
Can you take away my unwanted items?
I do not provide this service but I will be happy to provide advice on how to responsibly and safely dispose of anything you have decided to let go.
What if my partner doesn't want to tidy?
This is a very common concern people have. Once you have started your own personal tidying journey, the chances are that anybody who lives with you will be inspired by the process and will want to get on board too. Unfortunately, I will not be providing tidying sessions for belongings other than your own.
